Artist Profile: Kris Hay-Disney

Location: Decatur, Illinois

I think I've had a strong interest in visual arts since I was old enough to hold a crayon! Eventually my interest in art led to a career in web design where I could express a little creativity. However my love for drawing and painting, plus a love for animals, brought me to the place where I am now - Haywire Graphics!. Haywire Graphics features some of my illustrations and ideas; it's a great way to share my creations with the world, which is pretty much the goal of any artist!

All of the illustrations that you find on this site are done by hand using a digital pen tablet and Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop. I enjoy sharing the skills that I have learned with others on my other site - VirtualClues.com.

My favorite subjects, of course, are animals, dinosaurs and nature in general. My favorite animal is the sea lion and I'm kind of fond of warthogs! Go figure.
